Who We Are

We're a new kind of biotech, one with a bold mission to bring innovative new medicines at dramatically lower costs.

What You’ll Do

The VP or Senior Director of Molecular Oncology will provide scientific and strategical leadership to cross functional project teams engaged in the discovery and development of novel small molecular mass and biologic therapeutics in oncology. You will define the TPP and project strategy in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams both internally as well as with external partners and contract research organizations. You will implement flow-chart assays and in vivo models to execute screening cascades and drive lead optimization work towards the identification of novel, efficacious, safe, and well differentiated oncology drugs.

The Impact You’ll Have

This dynamic role will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects within oncology therapeutics. You will bring foundational scientific expertise and exceptional leadership to the Rx creation team at EQRx. We are an early-stage company, so this is a highly visible and impactful role in our vibrant organization. We are on a critical mission to bring quality solutions to patients at a fraction of the price. This role will help us drive towards that pinnacle goal of truly putting patients first.

  • You have broad experience with pre-clinical pharmacology models and integrating PK/PD and safety data into ongoing project decision making.

  • You can drive and influence projects from discovery through early clinical development with a track, proven record of driving projects to IND filing and clinical PoC.

  • You can participate and work effectively on multiple cross-functional teams.

  • You understand relationships are key and have strong interpersonal skills.

  • You are a genuine leader. Teams love working with you and you are someone who takes pride in mentoring and supporting the careers of others.
