What You’ll Do:

As the IP Counsel at EQRx,

you’ll be responsible for overseeing all matters pertaining to EQRx’s growing intellectual property (IP) portfolio. You will develop and execute IP strategy for EQRx’s growing pipeline of therapeutics in development and will conduct IP due diligence, patentability, and freedom-to-operate analyses.

You will collaborate with our Rx Creation and other internal teams to identify patentable subject matter and work closely with those teams, outside counsel, and (as applicable) our licensors and collaboration partners to prepare, file, and prosecute worldwide patent applications. Additionally, you’ll provide IP transactional support for our transactions involving the use, transfer, or ownership of IP, including advising on IP risks and opportunities. Further, you will work closely with our marketing and communications teams to drive brand protection by managing EQRx’s trademark portfolio. You will also partner with internal teams to promote awareness of IP and implications on EQRx’s business.

The Impact You Will Have:

This is a critical role on EQRx’s legal team that will support various EQRx teams that are working in furtherance of our vision to remake medicine.

Are you bold enough?

Your work should matter and allow you the freedom to be 100% you. We spend too much time and effort in our career to not feel excited and proud about what we do and who we do it with. In other words, your career is too important for your next move to be just another job, so let’s work together to change the world and bring affordable medicines to all patients.

We aren’t about a bunch of empty slogans on a wall or words on a coffee cup – you can find that in lots of places. We are a culture of individuals with diverse backgrounds and personalities.
