What You’ll Do

You will have oversight for providing strategic guidance and direction on key external communications related to EQRx’s development programs and commercialization activities. This role will report to the VP of Global Regulatory Affairs. You will manage the regulatory review of advertising and promotional materials and medical and scientific communications to ensure compliance with global health authority regulations, guidelines, and company policies. You will serve as the internal expert on all matters related to prescription drug advertising and promotion and will be expected to understand, interpret, and navigate through complex regulatory requirements and issues to support commercial objectives.

You will serve as the lead regulatory reviewer within the MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review body to support EQ’s product portfolio. You will act as the primary interface with FDA's Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) and oversee the submission of promotional materials, request for OPDP advisory comments, and any other related interactions. This role will act as our subject matter expert in interpreting and implementing regulations and guidelines relevant to promotion and advertising and will proactively identify and contextualize for impact any potential regulatory risks to senior leadership and other key stakeholders. You will stay abreast of industry updates and trends, recent enforcement actions, and issuance of guidance documents. This person will provide strategic guidance to product and label development teams to ensure commercial objectives are met and will support the development, review, and approval of promotional and disease state communications, including new product launches.

Your Superpowers

You have a BS or B.A. degree in a scientific discipline. An advanced degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., PharmD) is strongly preferred.

You have a minimum of 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience with at least 8 years of experience in regulatory affairs advertising and promotion.

You have significant experience reviewing materials developed to support payer and/or Health Technology Assessment interactions.

You have exceptional leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders. Teams love working with you and you are someone who takes pride in mentoring and supporting the careers of others.

 

You possess superior communication, organizational and presentation skills, and a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.

 

You understand relationships are key and have strong interpersonal skills.

 

You’re a team player who is willing to roll-up your sleeves and get the job done.
