Christian Antoni, MD, PhD Chief Global Development Officer

EQRx believes responsibility can be revolutionary. Want to make a difference while advancing your career? Come join a team that is working towards our bold mission of developing innovative medicines at radically low prices to help people get the medicines they need.

Who We Are:

We're a new kind of biotech, one with a bold mission to bring innovative new medicines at dramatically lower costs.

What You’ll Do:

You will serve as an Operational Excellence champion and mentor for change by influencing and guiding leadership and teams to understand how quality & lean principles work together to improve drug quality and efficiency of pharmaceutical manufacturing, as well as supporting business processes. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism and prioritize workload in accordance with Quality clinical and commercial strategic goals to provide a systematic, modern risk-and science-based approach to pharmaceutical manufacturing and development.

You will use operational excellence methodology to design/define processes related to Quality activities (GxP) in the areas of Process Development & Optimization, Technology Transfer, and Commercial Manufacturing. You’ll help teams apply the principles of Quality by Design (ICH) and Right-First Time (TQM) that drive science and risk-based approaches for process development (e.g., Ishikawa, FMEA, etc.) and Commercial manufacturing activities (e.g., commercial scale manufacturing, batch release, continual verification & improvement), including Technology transfer (transfer and scale up activities).

You’ll work with functional leaders to implement the digital Quality System that establishes and maintains process performance, product quality, and facilitates continuous improvement, including Corrective Action / Preventive Action. This role will work with functional leaders and our Integrated Data Science team to establish KPIs as part of the Management Review process, including quality oversight of testing of drug products, to review results, track trends and constantly diagnose for areas of improvement. You’ll support the development of the Continuous Improvement program in EQRx and maintain resources and procedures. You will build & strengthen critical OPEX capabilities to sustain long term organizational effectiveness. You will apply Change Management principles and manage communications for the relevant areas of the continuous improvement program of EQRx.

The Impact You Will Have:

You will collaborate with Quality leadership team and other key stakeholders, including Commercial Partners and Clinical Operations to drive the implementation of the EQRx Modern Vision for Manufacturing & Supply.

  • You can travel approximately 10 - 20% of the time.

We consider these behaviors we seek in all EQRx employees.

  • You can participate and work effectively on multiple cross-functional teams.

  • You are a leader. Teams love working with you and you are someone who takes pride in mentoring and supporting the careers of others.
  • You’re a team player who is willing to roll-up your sleeves and get the job done.

Are you bold enough?

Your work should matter and allow you the freedom to be 100% you. We spend too much time and effort in our career to not feel excited and proud about what we do and who we do it with. In other words, your career is too important for your next move to be just another job, so let’s work together to change the world and bring affordable medicines to all patients.

We aren’t about a bunch of empty slogans on a wall or words on a coffee cup – you can find that in lots of places. We are a culture of individuals with diverse backgrounds and personalities.
