What You’ll Do:

You will actively participate in Value Chain leadership teams and be responsible for the overall demand and supply plan. You’ll ensure consistency of inventory policy through the proposal of informed adjustments to replenishment plan settings, with regular reviews of stock sizing parameters and safety stock parameters. This role will collaborate with commercial and finance colleagues strategic and business planning to understand the anticipated volumes, highlighting key changes and trends. You’ll participate in meetings, contributing an overall supply chain planning perspective, to gain consensus on demand forecast, approved by all stake holders, and use as input for supply planning.

You will partner with our Commercial team to obtain up to date and timely forecasts and model demand profiles for products, ensuring forecasting decisions are informed by supply status. You’ll identify any future customer service risk and work with cross-functional teams to quantify and reduce impact to the customer. This role will provide monthly rolling forecast volume/demand plans to third-party manufacturers and other suppliers as required. You’ll translate business demand into supplier orders and raise/place orders with suppliers while being conscious of agreed supplier lead-times/MOQs, etc.

You will work closely with External Manufacturing to ensure strong supplier relationships are effectively developed & identify/address supply chain risks and opportunities. You’ll partner on production plans for your portfolio of products to ensure the smooth delivery of products. In case of supply constraints, you will develop solutions to mitigate the impact on the business and inform relevant stakeholders. You will regularly review and manage the inventory levels and availability of EQRx products, setting parameters to meet the operational needs of the supply chain for current and future stock requirements. This person will communicate the status of inventory to relevant key stakeholders within the Supply Chain, both at a market and global level.

You will collaborate with distribution/logistics colleagues on 3PL/distribution activities and track all movement of stock shipments for on time delivery to warehouse and customer, analyzing KPI data to monitor performance against relevant agreed lead times. You’ll work with IT and our Integrated Data Science team to implement Supply Chain best practices & KPIs, including the development of automated systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency of planning activities. You will support the Continuous Improvement program in EQRx through ongoing review of existing internal controls, processes & working practices with a view to identifying and implementing improvements.

The Impact You Will Have:

You collaborate with Value Chain leaders and other key stakeholders in the long-term strategic approach & management of the end-to-end supply chain. You will support the Value Chain leaders responsible for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for EQRx. You’ll provide supply and demand planning data to support the S&OP process.

Your Professional Superpowers:

  • You have a

    Bachelors/Master’s Degree (Quality, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain) with 5+ years' experience in demand and supply management in the biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. APICS certification desirable.

  • You have significant knowledge of Planning in SAP/APO/JDE/Oracle or other advanced Supply Chain Planning technology.
  • You have a proven capability to analyze and synthesize data with the ability to understand and present data in a meaningful way.
  • You know Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and have strong commercial acumen, understanding the market, customers, and products. You can compare budget and commercial forecasts as well as previous plans.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact in a cross functional environment with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the Supply Chain Planning process.
  • You can challenge current thinking, taking appropriate risks as key to advancing the business.
  • You can travel approximately 10% of the time (F2F team meetings, project work, etc.).
  • You can participate and work effectively on multiple cross-functional teams.
